Ziggy the Dog needs a home

Sweet boy! Ziggy is a diminutive 1-year-old Chihuahua mix who tips the scale at just 5 pounds. He's a quiet and gentle dog who loves to be held in your arms and enjoys snuggling on your lap. Ziggy came to us from the Monterey County Shelter after arriving as a skinny little stray. This guy deserves a loving home, regular meals and a lifetime of companionship! He gets along fine with other dogs, and will probably do fine with cats as well. Due to his tiny size, adult adopter or family with gentle older kids preferred. Ziggy has been diagnosed with a seizure disorder, which is successfully controlled with medication.
